Maybe a column when people dressed up for occassions. When in the fifties, men would wear suits and a fadora hat. Women wore dresses. The days when men would ever think of wearing a hat or ball cap inside or at a restaurant. When people would hold the door open for you or a women. To give your seat up on the bus or train for an elderly person. What happened to those days. It still exists today, but not much. Has society changed? Were baby boomers thought good manners and the sort. My parents taught us. Is it still considered by a sexist thing to hold a door open for a women? Would a child today help an elderly person across the street. Is respect for the older generation gone?? I hope not! We were always taught to respect our elders!

I remember being taught manners at home, in school and in Sunday school. We were taught the correct way to answer a phone and take a message. Scouts taught me to help elderly people across streets. It is sad that some of this still isn't taught in school these days.
