News: Reworking the forum a bit, friends. Now have a couple of boards that admins are running. Only they post new topics, all can comment as they see fit. Anyone can add a new post on the other (General Discussion) boards. :-)

We are incredibly fortunate to have a working drive-in movie in my area. And last night, my wife and baby boy (now 22) and myself enjoyed Toy Story 3 in nicely cool weather.

Here are a few pics.

The 112 was one of four area drive-ins about 1970. Today, it's the only one left. (http://112driveintheatre.com/)

But it is immensely popular, showing double features on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for twelve bucks a carload.

Here's hoping it keeps running forever.

You're right. You are fortunate. I can imagine that its fun to go there. I see the old speaker poles are still in place. Brings up a lot of memories.

Most folks tune their FM radios into 97.9, but the speakers on the last three rows are still operational!  laugh

Many fans grabs those rows just to get the old-fashioned sound.

Oh, and the snack bar serves the most saturated-fat-laden deliciousness to be found anywhere!
